Chelsea leaky a**e and the football weekend.
Nobody outside the confines of the dressing room at Stamford Bridge can say what exactly is the problem; mutiny, low morale, Eva Caneiro or amadioha's anger. No one can presently say what is wrong with the self acclaimed Special One, José Mourinho.
When Liverpool signed on Jurgen Klopp as their new Manager, he laughed off a name tag by saying he is just the Normal One. Based on the result over the weekend, it is safe to say that the Normal One beat the Special One. José have cut a confused picture of himself through out this season. He looks on like one who doesn't have the slightest incline on what to do to turn things around. Prior to Saturday's defeat by Liverpool, Chelsea had lost more matches already than they did through out last season. The football community seem to belive that Chelsea may be running a promo. The once feared Chelsea is now everybody's concubine. Teams approach games against Chelsea with no atom of fear. They go head on believing they will win and most often than not, the defending champions loose. Chelsea have conceeded a lot more goals than they have scored so far. Eden Hazard was the best player last season. This season, we have been on the lookout for that edition of Hazard but have only been able to see a terrible clone of him.
Despite going ahead through a Ramirez goal, Liverpool rallied and beat the Stamford Bridge club through two goals from Coutinho and one from Christian Benteke. That loss further reiterates the question; kilo n shele ni Stamford Bridge?
In a Glo Nigerian Premier League game played over the weekend at the Dan Anyiam Stadium Owerri, Heartland beat Giwa by three gaols to two. Heartlands' Bright Ejike scored his 14th Goal Of The season, Chinedu 'Chicago' Efugh and Ogbuh scored the other goals for the Owerri side while Echo Odeche scored both goals for Giwa. Spectacular was Ogbuh's goal. He dragged the ball towards the corner line, stepped over once displacing the defender on him and then unleashed the ball towards goal from that near impossible angle into the net!
Elsewhere, Enyimba beat Abia Warriors by a lone goal scored by Mfon Udoh to place the Elephant boys within touching distance of their 7th League title.
