Five star General N'golo Kanté.

The pint sized French international is a midfielder you can't help but love. With a look like a character from The gods Must Be Crazy, the midfield maestro is every football fan's favourite Chelsea player. Because of his size you may not immediately see him play. You just see his job get done with ease. A closer look will show the man doing the job.

Few players get Sir Alex Ferguson's good words. The legend said of Kanté last year, "he is the best player in the league". If you ever thought otherwise, those words from Fergie should make you rethink.
Kanté came to the EPL and became the talk of all. Alongside Danny Drinkwater, he steered Leicester's midfield to the 2015/2016 trophy. Chelsea snapped him up during the 2016 summer transfer window and he has since become a guardian angel protecting their back three.

With excellent ball winning and ground covering abilities, Kante is the shadow every opposing player hates to see. Through out his time in Engalnd, I have seen him outplayed once and have an average game once. Spurs' Victor Wanyama muscled him to take over the midfield when his side took on Chelsea at White Hart Lane. Chelsea eventually lost the game by two goals to nil. Against Manchester United few weeks back, he had an average game. Chelsea went on to loose the game by two goals to nothing. These instances make it safe to say that when N'golo Kanté is balling, Chelsea wins. When he isn't, Chelsea are run down. This season's EPL trophy is Chelsea's to loose. Their good run cannot be talked about without mentioning the stellar role of midfield General Kanté.

A man of few words with a lion heart, Kanté has announced himself. Chelsea can boast of having acquired the services of a Claude Makelele reincarneate in the French man.

As said, "75% of the earth is covered by water. The Rest is covered by N'golo Kante". Then again, "N'golo Kanté is the only human that can loose his virginity and recover it in seconds". The 2016/2017 EPL player of the season is a delight to watch.
All hail the General!
