The hypocrisy of English football press when it comes to football(ers) is mind boggling. We've had cases where they exhibit a basket full of rotten bias in relation to foreign players. It may not be the case but it all looks like they gather and decide to embark on a smear campaign against a foreign player. One player at a time, their latest victim is Paul Pogba.
Paul Labile Pogba, with one World Cup winners medal, 4 scudetto and 1 Europa League trophy is unsurprisingly, their current meat. This is a young man that ended the season as Manchester United's top scorer and assist provider; a verifiable fact that hasn't stopped the notorious pen assassins from using him as a sacrificial lamb for United's woeful season.
Many like me learnt a long time ago to believe the exact opposite of whatever English football writers (and some pundits) say about foreign footballers playing in the EPL.
The fact that Lingard, Jones, Young and Smalling are Manchester United players make their latest onslaught on Pogba at the very least, shameful, and exposes their unintelligent hypocrisy.
Today it's Pogba. Who's next?
